Coach Heather

Heather was able to get the job as assistant swim team coach. The team is the O'Fallon Torpedo's and is with the City of O'Fallon and the Renaud center where she and Kyle lifeguard. She is very excited to give back to swimming and has adopted the saying her special coach Kari used to say to her "swimmers never quit". She is having a blast and the 6 years old say she is the "most fun coach they have". She let them do a cannon ball to get wet at the early morning practice. She had her first meet tonight so we went to take pictures. I asked Reed if he missed this and we agreed we didn't miss the summer league meets. But we are so glad we had the kids swim and all they learned from it. It was fun to see Heather at the side of the pool instead of in the water racing. Though she did get in and help one of the under 6 who couldn't make it.
