On 27 Sep 08 Darien competed in the UK's National Tang Soo Do against other Orange-Green belt competitors in his age group. In total there were seven boys that competed and Darien placed second in forms (a variety karate maneuvers that include kicking and punching). A technicality preventing Darien from placing in sparring, but regardless he did very well.
